The passing presence, the brush of angels wings, the passion of the Father in our pain and most importantly the love, the powerful love of the Father. Who can deny the love of the Father. Do you know the Fathers heart? Can you just sit and let HIM speak it into your life. Can you look out your window and see HIM and HIS goodness? Well, I say yes, yes I can. I have a grateful heart for many things and here are a few: Being able to participate in the VOA 2012, standing in the gap for those that God lead me to. Watching God's grace and merciful hand upon my son. God spared his life. When others would say differently, I only "See" what the Father shows me now. He, Father God, Abba Daddy, Pappa saved my son's life. Taking my Mom for Thanksgiving to Lancaster, PA to see Miracle of Christmas. We saw the show and it was wonderful, however what struck me the most was God's hand upon that state, the land, those people, you could see HIS goodness everywhere. From the 19 yr old from Brazil, the was in this land for the first time in his life, that just walk up to me and starting asking me for help and ended up sharing his story, to the waitress in Olive Garden, that shared her story, of her Father showing up at her door after 7 years of not hearing from him on Thanksgiving Day. Goodness, God's goodness. Watching sisters embrace after not seeing each other for a very long time. Simple yet profound in it's own way. Goodness, God's goodness. To a recent phone call where the caller just shared her heart, right after I had been praying for her. The new Sabbath Church birthing this Friday night - after a long period of preparation and the Father's leading. He equips the called, and the evidence is all over them as a ministry couple. New Church additions at fast growing at KSCC. If you can't see God's goodness all around you, maybe you need to get your eyes off self and seek the Father through Jesus. Sow and seed into someone elses life and watch the Father multiply it. If your poor and weak cry out to the Father and let HIM show you HIS goodness, compassion and Love. His compassion is so great for us, that it's hard to even comprehend, until we stop look in the mirror, and see what God has created. What God created is good and HIS goodness dwells within HIS creation. It's time to sit and reflect on his goodness. 9/3/11 "I am YOURS" Plantagenet, Ontairo It was a great blessing to me to participate in the "I am YOURS" conference with my friend Bonnie Champagne. She was teaching on Intercessorary Prayer in one of the many workshops offered. It's nice to take down the borders of our countries and operate soley in the "body of Christ". The conference was held at the Centre De L'Amour - Center of Love. It's a beautiful facilty overlooking a lake on Jesup Falls, Ontario. After walking the grounds with my friend Kay we decided that we needed to bring this back to the states and offer it for future conferences. Bonnie taught on intercession and all the facets of it: Prayer, standing in the gap, soaking, fasting and shared many personal testimonies from her life. As I sat there inteceding for her as she taught, I realized that without someone interceding for you and standing in the gap - you cannot possibly get to your destiny in Christ. I started to ask God who inteceded for me? and he started to show me faces...starting with a women named Phyllis and ending with my great intercessor to this day Michael. Oh there are many in between and I praise God for every one of you. I also believe in and have a personal intecessor that I go to when I need the warring and travailing for myself or my family. Along with I have becoming a personal intercessor for others. I also asked my Father why I get asked to intecede for others, events and certain situations - and this is what I got - it's always an area I've been through or have a great knowledge of or heart for - at that moment I realized we can't operate in our giftings until we have a level of experience to bring the understanding. You cannot understand the meaning of the cross until you have gone through Gethsemane - so if you have not had a personal Gethsemane, then I doubt you are saved by the Grace of God. You have no understanding of the Power of the blood...because it's the blood that covers all - sin and it's the bloodline that the adversary cannot cross. So welcome your Gethsemane so you can get to the cross and die to self. Because until the death of self you don't have VICTORY IN JESUS. 9/1/2011" Family Revival Day's" We participated for the first time with a Hallelujah House booth at the Family Revival Day's with our friends, Peter & Deborah Unwin. It's growing and growing. I do not know the numbers (which do not really matter) but it was really busy this year. The fellowship was fantastic and I was blessed. They put us between friends with booth's. Dick & Marina on one side representing "Operation Christmas Child", and Dave & Kim on the other representing "Family Gap Ministry". I have to especially thank Frank Greene for giving me a tent to use. He really blessed me or I would not have had a covering from the sun. It's great to be with brothers & sisters in Christ - family for a weekend revival meeting. Yes revival. It brought great fellowship and much power and love into the body of Christ. Hat's off to the Pastor's that ministered to many. The ministry teams of Pastor Bill & Tia Carroll, Pastor Bill Huckle, Pastor Henry & Doreen Kemison, Pastor Mike & Carol Forman, Evangelist Steve Buza, Evangelist Harold Wallace, Pastor Tim and the CMA team, many were ministered to and received personal revival. I also want to thank my friends, Geppy, Jane and Bonnie bringing their team from Canada to participate and minister to this side of the border. However with this said, I must say my biggest blessing was Pastor Sam Biggar from The Bridge in Keesville, NY - he brought his team for "words of encouragement & dream interpretation". He really confirmed for me what I needed from a couple of dreams. He also taught on Friday evening and many were blessed to have an understanding. The CMA team from Plattsburgh lead by president, Basil Matthews blessed many also. They shared for a couple of hours with Doug Lamondie leading the band and Pastor Tim teaching on Warfare. I was so blessed to meet and talk with each one and definitely received a powerful word from Pastor & Teacher Tim. After recovering from exhaustion I realized how powerful this weekend really was and praise God for bringing it together and the hard work of the Unwin's and New Life Church along with many others under the leadership of Pastor Bill Carroll and Redeemed of the Lord ministry. If you did not participate in any way I would encourage you to get involved! This is and was directly from the Father. 8/22/11 Power & Love I attended the conference hosted by NTC in Massena this past week thank to Jessica Hurlbut, and her determination to bring this group of powerful speakers to cover this area with love. The speakers were all very gifted by God and had the ability to speak with authority for hours. The spirit was moving and many testimonies came forth. This is just one of mine. I went to Aldi's and was approached by a customer of HH from behind. She came in everyday that the weather was good and she could walk. I finally had the opportunity to meet her Mom and bless them in sign language. My second encounter was at Sears with a Canadian couple. I would not normally speak to someone standing outside smoking I would walk by discussed and have a headache from the smoke. But the Kingdom of God living inside of me did this: greeted her with love and compassion, a smile and hello. She came towards me and her husband came out and joined us. Well, forty minutes into the conversation, I knew their story, after a prayer of blessing they said, "God bless you and God Bless America". This is why we come over, because of people like you. Taking the time to stop and visit and help us find what we are looking for. ( Wow, if I had walked by I would have missed out, and the smoke never gave me a headache because I never even smelled it) My next encounter was with a sales clerk. She justed opened right up the minute I said hello and congratulations on 19 years of service ( I heard her tell the guy in front of me)She told me she was 77 yrs old and I then listened to the loss of her husband, daughter and three siblings older and three younger. I kept praying as she was talking, and then had the opportunity to bless her. As I was leaving I realized that I would have missed out, if I had not taken the time to notice people and bless them. Truly looking at everyone saying to self " Christ died for them" and I had to say God - your kingdom living in me is a magnet. They came to you, were drawn to you. That is living 24/7 living in Power & love. Well, it's time to open the doors to the public and I can't think of a better place than "Family Revival Days" Malone Fairgrounds August 26 & 27. We will have a booth from 10 am until 5 pm or later. Stop by the Fairgrounds for all the fellowship with Brothers & Sisters from several Counties. There will be great worship music and speakers. Vendors, pony rides, bounce house, and many things for children. So come out and bring the whole family. 10 am - 10 pm August 26, 27, and 28th. Psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God" I'm in a season of "being still". It's a difficult season for me, and I'm learning that when your in complete surrender - being still is the only thing you can do for a time. Waiting upon the Father for direction, HIS will, HIS plan, HIS perfection. I would not want to make one move outside of HIS will. You see I've been there before. It never works out...it's not a good place to be and until you correct it, you do not have peace. So I praise God that I have perfect peace now. I long to be in HIS will in every area of my live all the time. I strive for it daily. It's all I desire...when I'm at the ocean, I pause in awe of my God, my Father God. The waves remind me of His mercy - it's new every morning, it washes over me and makes me new, a fresh start. When the waves hit the shore and it draws back anything out of place and leaves a perfect smooth surface - that's Grace it shows us what we must extend to everyone, all the time no matter what. Grace. The vastness of the ocean is my reminder of His love - it's unlimited - you see no end, it's perfect - perfect love cast out all fear. As a Christian I have no fear - because HIS love cast it all out. It strengthens me in my inner being. It prepares me for what's to come. He's speaking and I'm listening, being renewed, rested and ready for the task at hand. I want to thank all of you that have been patient with the extended close of Hallelujah House...we appreciate all the calls and support, and encouragement. The intercessers are back together, and we are expecting for an annoucement soon. Shalom 4/20/2011 " We praise God for likeminded brothers and sisters" I must say that Michael and I were certainly blessed when friends from our Tuesday night bible study showed up Friday night to move Hallelujah House. Hard working, dedicated, solid in their faith brothers and sisters. I was overcome with emotion with the care and handling of Hallelujah House. It was as if it were theirs. But as I pondered the move, only operating in the spirit could have accomplished what we all did. Six set's of hands working for the Glory of the Lord. Laughter rang out, fellowship, prayer and a total bonding of spirits. I thought many times...."Father are you pleased?" and indeed he was. I could list all everyone did, but that would be sharing the privacy of the moments, and the Glory goes the the Father only. It was five hours of pure praise! I would like to also thank the many who volunteered to help us. Your outpouring of love and willingness did not go unnoticed and we are forever greatful for your service to the Lord. Please keep Hallelujah House, it's closing and The Murray's in prayer. We begin our 40 day's of seeking the Father's will today. We will enter in to make sure it is all HIM and none of us, just like the first Hallelujah House. Indeed it will be a New Hallelujah. Thank you to all of our faithful customers who are patiently awaiting the reopening of Hallelujah House. We treasure your friendship, we covet your prayers and thank you for supporting the ministry of Hallelujah House. Glory to God in the Highest! Hallelujah 4/4/2011 " a day in the spirit" I must say when God wakes you and speak's to you about what he want's you to do - you must prepare. Break Bread, pray, fast, get on your knees and in the word. You might say, "who....me?" "I can't" not today". Then you watch Him work it all out. When the House of God allow's the spirit to move and work freely, it's a testimony to the Leadership. Our Pastor Lee, say's at the beginning of the service, "this is God's house and we want you to be free to speak if the spirit moves you". That's freedom. The Holy spirit was moving and as the body was obedient he brought the anointing level higher. We stood in the gap, as a whole for a sister that's in need. There is power when the whole body is moving in one accord. I stand believing she's going to be healed. God loves unity, he loves us all the time, but when we are operating as one he blesses us as a body. The outpouring at the alter after we broke break together was amazing to see, weeping and praying and laying it all down....surrender at the throne of grace. Then a friend came for the first time, and again surrender. She surrendered her life to Christ and was baptised in the Holy Spirit. The e-mail I received later in the day explained it all...She finally had perfect peace. I would like to honor our Pastor in all this...you see their was another Pastor and his wife present, and he allowed them to operate in his gifts at the alter. The respect, honor and affirming that went on...maybe unnoitced by some, never slipped my attention. Their was no threat of another taking over, or getting any glory....it was all GOD'S. That's why we love, honor, affirm and pray for our Pastor. He is worthy to be praised! My day just kept getting more special, I headed to see my friend to bless her with a note given to me that said just what she needed to hear. You see God alway's knows what we need before we do. My time with my friend Nancy is alway's to be treasured, and yesterday was no exception. I headed to my Mom's after that, and was blown away by the conversation. I asked her who she confided in all the year's of us growing up, and without hesitation, she said, Jesus...I talk to Jesus. Even last night, I told Jesus I miss your father...I melted right into the chair, and later when I processed it, I got so excited. My Mom had friends, not many - only a tight circle that included mostly family. She said don't take it outside the family...wow was I ever learning from my Mom. We then got into the word, and what it say's about many things, and she walked over and pulled out a bible off the book shelf and handed it to me. She said, you can have this. It was a warn out taped together bible, my Grandmothers that she had bought her in 1969 - King James Version I immediatedly opened it up and looked for all the highlighted and underlined passages. ( which is funny that when I showed Michael upon arriving home he did the same, wanted to know what scripture she had underlined) So never stop learning from your older wiser parents. They have much wisdom and much to tell. I had the best day ever with my Mom...praise God for mothers. Father - it was a good day, a very good day indeed!Glory to God. 3/26/2011 "Failure to Make Good" What would Jesus Do? When you have fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, fail to make good on purchases, orders, or engraved Bibles, what do you do? Do you send their name to a collection agency? Do you put it in the store on a public list of "failure to make good"? ( which is what some other Christian Bookstores do) Do you forget about it, write off the loss and trust the Father to restore to you everything Satan has stolen? Or would that mean the brother or sister were controlled by Satan or Demon possessed? Do you go to their Pastor? What do you do? Well, I've been praying and asking the Father what do I do? He said," go to my word"...And this is what is says... Romans 13:7 " give to everyone that you owe" Romans 13:8 " Pay everything you owe" I think that's the answer....just pay your debts. You will stand accountable for "failure to make good." Do you not fear God? If your answer is yes....then pay your debts. If you can't pay, ask the person to forgive your debts....then forgive your debtors. But you have to go to who you owe and ask.....so here at Hallelujah House....we wait for those to come and ask. 3/21/11 "Warnings" Have you ever had a specific dream so real that you were talking with the Father and he was telling you what you needed to know in specific detail. The warning. Who was behind it, and who you could trust and who were the wolves in sheeps clothing. A warning so alarming that they managed to get into your intercircle? Alarming...yes, but no weapon formed against us shall prosper. When your in constant communion with the Father, and completely surrendered, there is nothing and I mean nothing that you don't have access to. He will and does bless us in front of our eneimes...and he even showed us who you are. We pray for you, and wait to see how the Father is going to deal with you. A warning...yes - knowledge....yes - worry - no, my Father has shown us that he is taking care of the powers and principalities. Believe it! 3/7/11 This past weekend we had the blessing of having Gayle and Ed Villalba with our Church family. Friday night we had a leadership conference, which Michael and I were invited to, and we attended. It was a great blessing to listen to what we in Church leadership and Ministry Leadership have to deal with and how to deal with it gracefully. A firm foundation is vital!! Saturday was the marriage conference, and all were blessed and even renewed their marriage vows! Sunday Pastor Ed Villaba gave the message and I for one was so blessed to have the power of the holy spirit deliver the words right to my heart. Then I along with a couple of friends had the blessing of praying with others in need. A great weekend indeed and all the Glory went to the Father. 2/24/11 The New Hallelujah House God has spoken, we've listened and are now preparing to enter in to what his purpose for us and those that stand with us is. A Christ Centered Community Gathering place for all. We are excited to tell you that we will be prayfully planning every detail, and receiving all that God has for us. Thank you to our inner circle that has prayed, donated and stood with us. We covet your prayers, and receive joyfully whatever God has put upon your hearts. Glory to God in the HIGHEST. 2/3/2011 Salvation Army I had the honor to go to Salvation Army Church. What a blessing to listen to Les & Linda Green, and then hear Capt. Marilyn preach. She is an amazing women of God, and when I told her, her comment was, " wait until you hear my husband". Now that is a Virtueous women. She thanked me, but built up and edified her husband in one sentence. Ladies isn't this what we all should be doing? Let's make it a daily habit to grow in our love for our husband's and build up, edify and come along side them. Just think what God can do through our spouses if we do our part. Let him be the leader, the head, the covering for you and your family. Thank you Capt. Marilyn! 1/31/2011 "It's Birthing Time Again" - I would say," A New Hallelujah" God is speaking, moving and inspiring. The inventory is done, books are ready for the CPA, and my surgery is behind me, with recovery coming swiftly. God is speaking....he's blowing on the embers of New......New building, new ministries, new beginnings and blessings flow forth with abundance and clarity. We've been searching and found our new spot. It will take God and a prayer to make this move, but we are once again stepping out in faith. Obedience to the Father is our sole purpose. It's in the obedience that we see blessings and prosper. Vision's coming to life and through hard work and the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ we Stand. But before we go further.....let's take a look at what God did last year. * Hallelujah House prospered and packed out the store ( actually out grew it by August) * Supported mission trips to India, Africa, Nigeria, Kosovo, Kenya, Haiti, Uganda and Nicaraga * Donated through a coffee fundraiser to Camp Mandaville * Supported the Alzhiemer Association with a team of customers and coffee fundraiser * Visited 27 Churchs and put the word out to the community on what they offer and helped those looking for a church find one. * Hosting a Men's Group * Started an Intercessory Prayer Group * Started a Healing Team * Started "Christian's Helping Christians" Support Group for those with Mental Illness * Donated to many local Basic need's organizations * Supported and Participated in "Family Revival Days" * Donated and paricipated in Kairos Prison Ministry and what did God do for our family.....grew us personally in a ministry that has been blessed, but most importantly strengthened our marriage, family and relationship with our Lord. Helped us to get to know many brother's and sisters in Christ in St. Lawrence, Franklin and Lewis County. *Listen and Watch for our new location, hours and ministry.... 12/27/10 " Is your home a sanctuary?" I had a restful Christmas this year. We decided to stay in, an ponder the day. What did it mean to God? What did it mean to Mary? What does it mean to me? I was up early and in the word, on my knees and in complete worship...under the pray shawl and journaling too! My sacred place, my home a retreat to the soul. Time with my Father is the most precious gift I can give self. I long for it, thirst for , hunger for more of it....I'm grateful that I can retreat to my place in the home, deliberately tune out the unpleasant sounds and listen for the inward voice, there it is and I recognize it. I stop competing with others and self, give myself to God, and then be what and who he created me to be without regard to what others think....I realize the time to reduce interest to a few...is close, and the 21 day fast is approaching. I reflect on the year past...I praise God for all he has done and is doing. I'm grateful for the Godly men and women he has put in my life and the life of my family. I'm grateful for the ministry of Hallelujah House, and what it represents in a community so focused on the "world" and operating in the natural. I appreciate the opportunity to visit area Churches. I've enjoyed the fellowship and long to visit more. I come to the center of self and find my Father has again blown on an ember. It's coming into a new season of growth for self, my family and the ministry. It's time to take a stand. It's time to stop and speak truth, no matter what. It's time to bring some things to an end and embrace the new. I'm preparing Father, I'm waiting and I will be still. I'm yours fully, surrendered at your throne of Grace. I will be still, and wait upon you...... 12/24/10 " No Room at the INN" Is there room in your Heart?" As I was pondering the eve of our Lord's birth, I came to the word and knowledge that : he came, no room at the inn. I was in awe of the fact that many today have "no room" either, and I weep. I realized that often times in the rush of the season - we bake, shop, wrap and give, run and run mostly on e. Is there room? Where is he in the midst of it all? Well, for me - he's in everything, he's everywhere, he's beauty in the snowflakes, he's in the presence of the shoppers, he's in the giving ( if it's with a pure heart) he's in the music that speaks to us, he's in the smile of someone we haven't seen in a long time. He's in the hug, the card mailed and received for those who are in Christ. He's in it all for me....Is he for you? Do you know the one we celebrate HIS birth? Do you know that JESUS is the REASON for the season? My prayer today is that you know him. Will you make room for HIM in your heart? Will you believe in HIM? Also heavy on my heart today is the Crump family, the Unwin family, the Sherman family, the Kellogg family, the lonely, the sick the incarcerated, the nursing home patients, the hungry, the mentally ill and the addicted. It is my passion to be here for all of you. To listen, love and pray for you and with you. Hallelujah House has a new scripture for the year. John 15:15 "I have called you friends". If you need a friend....come in or call. If you are hungry....call or come in we will find help. If you are grieving...come in. If you are ill or addicted...come in or call. We and a team of others want to "stand in the gap for you". Merry Christmas to all our friends, family and acquaintances. 12/17/10 "Tuesday's with Pastor" I have not talked about my Pastor in a long time. But I praise God that every Tuesday I have the opportunity to visit with him. Pray with him, watch him minister to others in Hallelujah House and get minister to himself. He told my husband and I recently that Hallelujah House is on his list of Thanksgiving's everyday. It's always a reminder that our Pastors, Elder's, Priest and Minister's all need refreshing. They need down time....they minister 24/7 or most of them do. Now I have the opportunity to speak with several Pastor's throughout the week, but it's my Pastor's joy that bless us every time he comes through the door. Sometimes he's misunderstood because he's so joyful, he's so loving, kind, and compassionate. He thinks nothing of laying down everything he has to minister to someone. He's taken many under his wing, bought them all bibles - and not the generic ones, the best. The Bible that speaks to their age, and that relates to what they are going through. He makes sure they not only get the word of God, but they get the devotional too! I know that I don't tell him often enough, how much we love him, pray for him and his family and keep him protected with the armor. It's not all roses though, but that's what I like about my Pastor, is that he's easily accessible to talk to, and when you have a problem...he will listen. He might not agree, but he LISTENS. This CHRISTmas, I want to tell my Pastor that I think he represents Christ, our Church and his family greatly. He is a man to be praised and honored. Today, Pastor Lee - We honor you. Glory to God in the HIGHEST. We thank you for your servanthood, not only to our church family, but to anyone that has a need. May God's blessings flow forth in abundance to you. Merry Christmas 12/10/10 "Love" In the Body of Christ This morning the Lord God woke me up at 1 am. There was a story in a journal to be read. I do not personally know the man who wrote the journal, but when I touch the cover, I felt precious, anointed, profound, truth, simplicity, obedience and the greatest of these love. At Christmas time we share stories of past Christmas as children, with our children, our traditions old and new. We share the Love that came down and touched us all. I believe that every person feels the love of Christ at Christmas. Whether your in Christ or not, there is an anticipation of what's to come. It's not in a gift ( monetary) but it's in the eyes of the beholder. It's the hug, the "Merry Christmas" or even the Happy Holiday and Happy Hanukkah. It's being able to receive as well as give. It's the peacefulness, the joy, the hope. Our thoughts turn to why sometimes. Why would God choose to come to earth, be born of human flesh, in a stable ( lowly manager) to walk on this earth for 33 years to be persecuted, rejected and despised. Why? Because he first loved us. Can we accomplish this kind of LOVE? Can we look at our persecutes and love them, pray for them and truly mean it? I say YES. YES because if we are to become Christlike we need to strive towards what he taught us. We need to love each other, no matter what. Did you know that when we do that, that God can bless us right in front of our enemies? He has the say. It's up to him. We serve not man, but God. If HE says so, then it's so. I stand on that today, with love overflowing. Back to the journal....so private so personal, yet shared. I need not elaborate on the story, but the lesson in the giving. The giving of a Godly man to share what God has shared with him. The Word says, to seek the council of the wise. He is a man I would seek council from. I thank God for Godly men standing up and leading. This man has and is leading with humility, and he knows not who he's blessing. Thank you. 12/3/2010 "Hope" First Sunday in Advent, if you celebrate it which is the time leading up to Christ birth, if you celebrate that, is a time of reflection. No matter your circumstances or where you are in life, there is always hope. If your in Christ you wake every morning with Joy and excited that your HOPE is in Him. But maybe you wake with a heavy heart....there is still hope. Maybe your circumstances this morning are not ideal, maybe your finances are short, maybe your relationships are not great, maybe your struggling in your marriage, or maybe your Church. There is HOPE. Keep your eyes on Jesus, trust him...because he deserves it ( he's working behind the scenes on your behalf and he already knows every need) I personally love this time of year. It's a season we should celebrate every day, but celebrate one month out of the year. But what it does is bring believer's together to be at their best, celebrate the birth of our Lord, brings out our giving spirits, and allows us time to set apart with family and friends. It's a peaceful season too. I love that God gives us seasons in life. Some seasons are more difficult than others, but all the same it's a season. It's going to change...when our Father says so. I love that each morning I can crawl up in Daddy's lap and rest. I can share me heart's desires, sorrows and pain. I can share the joy's and the troubles, but always with thanksgiving. I can cry and he wipes my tears, I can laugh and he laughs with me. I can be in the most restful place of all. Yes, there is always HOPE. Put your HOPE in HIM. 11/15/2010 "Upper Room" Well, I must say that going to the upper room on Sunday evenings is the most refreshing, renewing and powerful way to get ready for the week. It's uplifting and the transparency is powerful. Last night was no exception. We had a great time of worship, with Lisa on guitar and her son on drums - which was awesome to see. We always enjoy the worship team, but it's always nice to see other believers walk in and join in. We are grateful for that freedom at NLCF. A testimony was shared and the transparency was so powerful, that many came forward for prayer, healing, anointing and intercession. But most importantly the stigma of mental illness was broken. If there is a place where everyone should feel safe, accepted, loved and blessed it's in the church. Last night was a new beginning and I'm honored to come along side of a sister to help minister to those in need. We praise God for all he is doing and know that Satan has no power over any disease. We have seen and expect to see many delivered. I want to honor Pastor Bill for his obedience to move in the spirit with freedom and victory. Our Victory is in JESUS. He allows all those who enter to use their gifts, and today.....this is my prayer for all church's. 11/11/10 "Visit" We had the opportunity to visit First UMC in Massena on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and what a magnificent church to be in. The stained glass window's are rare and truly gems. The pipe organ, the encased Eucharist, the wooden pew's and the glory of the Lord made it a memorable experience. But most importantly it was the warm greeting by Louise Matthew's, Linda Caza and several other's. It was a blessing to hear Pastor Jeff doing children's church and leading worship and sharing God's word. This Church has so much to offer. If you are a Senior Saint, you can join several others, if your a young family you can get connected with other young families, and if you have tweens and teens, you can join the youth program which is a highlight of this church community. Truly a landmark and a wonderful place to worship. This past week as I've collected pray request for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanastan, it's been a pleasure to hear the stories, share a few tears and get to know the men and women serving currently and those that have in the past. Five Dove's for Pastor John Kashorek for his relentless serving and ministry. He shared with me that last year he interviewed every vet at the nursing home and what a joy it was to later share and pray for these wonderful men and women. They are to be honored not only on veteran's day, but everyday. Freedom isn't free....our Salvation cost our Lord the cross, our freedom in this country cost many families their loved ones past and present. Stop and ponder what your freedom really mean's, then live free....and if you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus, stop by Hallelujah House, their's alway's someone ready to listen listen and love love and lead lead... to Jesus. 11/1/10 "world vision" Michael and I were asked to work at the World Vision Table at SUNY Canton to talk about our sponsored son, Aldi Fredrik. We were unsure of the group called Fireflight, which turned out to be very hard rock, along with Group 1 Crew. As I put plugs in my ears, I reminded myself I was supporting many children's future's by volunteering to talk about Aldi and the fact that World Vision is by far the best program to support a child with for many reason's but most importantly, 89% of your support goes to your sponsored child. It truly was a fun time, and most importantly a great time with my husband. We stood back and were blessed by the parents, youth group leaders and young adults that brought their young tweens and teens to hear the message of Jesus Christ. A dear friend of ours brought his son, and was able to stand right up in front and listen with his son. That's a good Dad. He has many "great" Dad qualities, but meeting our children where they are at in music, can sometimes be difficult, but most important to understand what's speaking to them. Again a witness of building up and edifying. Thank you Father for the witness of parent's ever present in their children's lives, and for those young couples and college student's willing to think of children in third world countries above themselves. Father, let your will be done and Your KINGDOM COME. We had the honor to be personally invited to witness a church mortgage burning ceremony. That was a first for us, and we were blessed by Evangelist Hafelin and music by the Merritts. Michael and I have always been blessed by Pastor Steve & Vivian Darrow. It truly is wonderful to be in a community of believer's that build up and edify, and not once quenching or grieving the Holy Spirit. 10/20/10 "Blocks to Healing" Are you suffering from a disease? Do you have a chronic illness? Do you simply struggle with depression or oppression? What does the Bible say about Blocks to Healing? Let's take a look...let's go to the deeper side of what the root's are: High Blood pressure - root fear and anxiety - 2 Timothy 1:7 Asthma - great fear concerning relationships - Angina - stress and anxiety - Luke 21:26 Colon Cancer - bitterness and slander with the tongue - Provers 18:21 & Matthew 12:36 Viruses - Spirit of infirmity - Luke 13: 11-12 Rheumatoid Arthritis - self-hatred - Isaiah 38:18 & Psalm 118:17 Diabetes (type 1) - extreme rejection and self-hatred coupled with guilt, direct rejection by a father - Ezekiel 18:17 & Exodus 20:5 Crohn's Disease - extreme self-rejection coupled with guilt. Ulcerative Colitis - anxiety disorder and the fear behind it. Alzheimer Disease - various degrees of self-hatred and guilt - Luke 4:23 Rosacea - self-hatred Psoriasis - self-hatred and lack of self-esteem and conflict with identity Endometriosis - self-rejection and self - hatred, also one of the factor's of abortion is endometriosis Osteoporosis - envy and jealousy - Proverbs 14:30 Sciatica - evil spirits - Matthew 10:1 Degenerative Disc Disease - usually tied to an addictive personality involving drugs both legal and illegal and may be inherited. Somewhere in the past alcohol use or drug use to someone else...usually drug dealers or bartenders - Habakkuk 2:15-16 This is not my word, but God's word put to use by a medical Dr. - what this is saying is there is a spiritual root to every disease and their can be complete healing, after all Jesus went to the cross that we might be delivered from sin by his blood and delivered from disease by his body. There are 33 blocks to healing and as I'm in the process of doing, I suggest you get a copy of Henry W. Wright's, national best seller -"a more excellent way" it's worth the purchase. My pick this month. May this information speak to you and draw you into a more intimate relationship with Our Father. Don't take my word for it - look in His Word - It's knowledge and knowledge is power. 10/10/10 "Prayer" - "Intercessors" "Like minded Christian friends" I must say for sometime now I prayed that God would restore to us Godly, likeminded, Christian friends. Many of our friends have gone through seperation or diviorce, and it changes the dynamics of the friendships. Until you realize that you need to have friends that build up, edify, come along side of you in the midst of our victory's and our desserts. Intercessary prayer is such a hugh part of friendships. If you know that you have friends lifting you up, and carrying the burdens with you it's easier to go through. It's the first phone call you make when God has answered, delivered and you rejoice together. Well, we have many times been called upon and called others to intercede for. It's POWER, AUTHORITY AND VICTORY when you know that he's moving among the brothers and sisters. It's especially been more powerful since God has called out his chosen to be in the BODY OF BELIVERS, not just in the same walls week after week. It's great because he's calling out many. So we've all become accountable to each other, and blessed by each other. We have the opportunity to pray with and for each other and sometimes to just sit back and ponder what he's doing in the lives of his chosen. I praise God for HIS will being done in HIS saints. 10/4/2010 " A new Pastor In Town" Michael and I headed off to the Norfolk Wesleyan Church on Sunday morning. We gathered with many familiar faces, and sat with Adam & Jennifer Hunter. A welcoming Church with much to offer. The worship is traditional, the service easy to follow, the message profound and the surprise by Pastor Dave was enjoyed by all. He finished his message with a song of worship. It was a blessing. He can preach, teach and sing. With just a glimpse of what's to come, I want to encourage all to visit this church if your searching. The youth and vitality of having a young Pastor is a real blessing. We want to welcome Pastor Dave Green and family to our beautiful North Country. I was blessed by a phone call by Hazel & Ernie after service, because they missed talking with us in church. An invitation to a breakfast this Saturday for Pastor Dave & family put on by Hazel was the purpose of the call, but for all that know them, know that it's an honor to speak with such a seasoned couple in Christ, and you find yourself pondering what God is doing in your life that you could possibly receive so many blessings. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. 9/27/2010 " KAIROS" - "I was in prison and you visited me....." Matthew 25:36 I never really knew anything about KAIROS prison ministry until this weekend, when I had the opportunity to visit a prison and hear the closing ceremony from about 30 brothers, yes they are now my brothers..in Christ. I was moved to tear's to hear some of their stories, thinking Lord, they never had a chance, they never had a Mom or Dad, or anyone that cared. One brother said, "if I had friends like this, I would have never ended up here", so that told me he never really had any friends that truly cared. Real friends. I praise God for the team....those that sacrifice their time, their finances, their vacation time and family time....to pour into the "least of these" as "the world like's to call them". But, as I sat in prison, the holy spirit's presence was so powerful. Some were absolutely glowing with the anointing. I also, saw the world...the past, the still present pain on some. Troubling yes, but not when you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Redeemed, Saved by the BLOOD OF JESUS. POWERFUL....SO POWERFUL I WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED TO BE ANYWHERE ELSE. But, I must admit, that laying eyes upon my husband was the best part ever. You see I watched as - He prayed, he wrote, he spoke, he sacrificed, he blessed and was a blessing to many, but to his family - He is the head, the lead, the provider, protector, the advisor, the listener, the set apart, the wise council and he is to be honored, and I thank him for serving. "9/20/10 Victory In Jesus" I had a lovely visit to my "home Church when I was growing up" Victory Baptist Church. Although a lot of changes have taken place, it felt like a homecoming. Greeted immediately by Kay Jenkins, which turned into a lovely visit. I saw Shirley LaGarry and immediately asked if I was going to have the opportunity to hear her sing, she laughed and pointed to the "fully equipped praise band" and said, "yes". It was a great time of worship.....with Miriam on keyboards, Shirley on vocals and acoustic guitar, Bill on horn, and Nathaniel on trumpet ( I think I got that right) I didn't meet the drummer, but she was very good. Amy Ramsdell made her way over to me, which is a blessing always to see her. You see Kay and Amy have always felt like family. I have known them since I can remember. Pillar's in the Church, Women's retreats at Camp Mandaville and Youth Group's - Kay and I had the opportunity to reminisce about "the farm" and the VBS that was held there, many year's ago, when my son went. Pastor Rick brought the message of the day forth, with ease and clarity. Great for the intellectual, yet easy for me to understand. Sound biblical teaching in the exact way it should be. The profoundness of the message was a story, when he was on the mission field and received a letter from another missionary that spoke of a 10 year old girl. She was asked at gunpoint what tribe she was from? She answered, " The God Jehovah" - they did not know what to do with her, so they left her alone...10 years old..she made a stand, professing that she knew who she belonged too!Who she was in Christ! Do you know who you belong to? Blessing continued to flow on the day of our Lord. We had the opportunity to go to dinner with 5 friends. The fellowship was great, the food was good, but the "Upper Room" experience was what made the night.....spirit filled, anointed and blessed was everyone! We praise God for his pouring out upon us. We repent, fast, pray and edify when we are assembled! We fear not what is ahead because we know "who's we are". 9/14/2010 " Blessed to Be a Blessing" What a weekend!! Only in the spirit could I get to each event that I was invited to, and had scheduled month's in advance. Saturday night proved to be the anointed service indeed....much appreciation for Pastor Bill Huckle, Pastor Rick Sinclair, Pastor Mike Tomford and the many area Pastor's in attendance. I was moved by the worship, the messages and the fellowship. Manny Laso has a gift of being the MC for the night, and I know he can preach. A great man of God, and just another reason to experience this Church.( plus if your lucky his wife Rachel will let you hold the miracle baby, Andres.) She let me during the service and I was right at home. You see every time I see a newborn, I weep at the greatness of OUR GOD. He performs a miracle every time a baby is born. Congratulations Manny & Rachel! The Church History was spoken by Atty Jerry Leek, with the original vision by Greg Lafave or ( the Lafave era, as Jerry called it). They invited me to be interviewed and share what God showed me, when we put an offer in on the building. Greg actually had published blueprints for the exact building years prior. Is our God great! I'm always moved by an encounter with Pastor Bill Carroll. He's prophetic, encouraging and has the gentleness I picture Jesus having. Such love for everyone and anyone...UNITY in the BODY was visually witnessed and I was honored to be a part of it. Sunday morning had me headed to Grace UMC, in Massena. I was blown away by the music of Pastor Jeff and Ellen Emery. She is gifted beyond what I would have imagined, and the humility of her talent is moving to all that know her. She must be a Crane Graduate! Pastor Jeff preached it - and I wish I could be their the next 5 Sunday's to hear the rest of "the gifts of the Spirit", but lucky for me he promised to e-mail his message to me. The building is warm and cozy, the people wonderful and spirit filled. They offer many opportunities for fellowship and study. I want to thank Everett & Judy for their kindness and hugs! Off to walk the Memory Walk in the afternoon! I would like to thank every walker and volunteer for raising the funds to help find a cure, and getting closer to giving everyone that has Dementia or Alzheimer's a sort of GPS wrist band, so that they can never get lost for long. The police will be able to tract them the minute they get a call of a loved one missing. I praise God for this and pray that it happens soon in the County. I want to honor our team "Joan's Journey" we had 11 walkers and raised $1457.00 with more being collected until the 1st of November. I would personally like to thank all the coffee customer's at HH, as a portion of the sales went to the Memory Walk. I would also like to thank the "family revival day's" for allowing us to sell water at the fairgrounds for our team, along with my friends, family and neighbors that have donated. I truly believe we honor God when we work together to help those in need. My prayer is that a cure is found. Sunday evening proved to be another blessing, as I was able to participate in another Church Dedication at "Life IN HIS Arms Community Church". It was nice to honor my longtime friend and now Pastor, Belle Burgoyne. She has a great ministry to women, young adults and youth along with a small church in Brasher Falls. But I believe the blessing to the Brasher and surrounding area is the After School program she implemented with 5 other Church's. IN THE SCHOOL - PRAISE GOD - Catholics, Baptist, Methodist and Interdenominational Church's coming together for the good of our children and the GLORY of GOD! WOW now that is Community coming together for the BODY. I truly enjoyed the ST. Lawrence Singer's also, which Pastor B's sister, Eunice and husband Bill participate in. The children of the church also had their own solo, along with worship leader, Dan Ethier. I great time indeed! As I reflected on the entire weekend, with the Body of CHRIST, I praised and thanked my Father in Heaven for his blessings. It truly is an honor, to honor other's in "going outside the walls" of the buildings, which we call the Church. The Church, is a BODY of believer's coming together for one purpose...to worship the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS! 9/5/2010 " Another Visit" I felt pressed to visit the Scotch Presbyterian Church in Chipman. What a blessing it was. The building in all it's Glory to God is breathtaking indeed! I received a friendly greeting and asked to sit with a lovely lady. The worship is traditional, and took me back to my younger day's in the Methodist and Baptist Church I attended. I was equally blessed by the message....Is you Cup Half Empty or Half Full....Well mine is overflowing! Such a privilege to visit Church's all over the North Country. We are truly blessed by the many choices we have to fellowship. I missed Pastor Noel and Paula..but I will be back someday. Upper Room experience in the evening....prohectic, anointed, blessed and the worship is always amazing. I'm so blessed each time I go. My husband joined me, and he was moved to his core. Pastor Bill has such a humility about him. I still HIGHLY recommend this experience. It's even better when you have dinner with great friends before hand, and we did just that. Solid, Godly Affirming Friends...does life get any better than this? 8/30/2010 " Family Revival Day's" Praise The Redeemed of the Lord. Praise Him! Honor HIM! Glorify HIM! Well, if you missed this past weekend at the fairgrounds in Malone, NY you missed out!!Never in my recollection has there been anything so powerful, so anointed, so filled with the hovering of the Holy Spirit as this past weekend. Friday Night was amazing with Catherine Mullins and NLCF playing backup, then Pastor Stephen Strader. A powerful night with many testimonies coming in the next day. Saturday Night The Green Family, Psalmistry. When Martin blue the Shofar, the wind came and throughout the night as they played it was as if the wind was dancing to the music. Martin read while his wife, Robyn played. It was moving everyone present. Some where on there knee's, others singing, some praying over others, and some were giving words of knowledge. It was powerful, almost to difficult to put into words. Keith Deltano spoke on both day's and was very funny, yet really profound in his Biblical teaching. He is truly gifted and should be doing a teaching in every School, Church and Community event. My husband, Michael and I were extremely blessed to have been prayed over for Hallelujah House by all the Pastor's present. I was so moved by Pastor Bill Carroll's messages throughout the weekend. I've just recently gotten to know him and his lovely wife Tia and daughter Caitlin. He is a missionary to Kenya, and a Street Evangelist and Pastor of Redeemed of the Lord Ministry. He can preach, teach and has the gift to speak prophetically. I want to thank him for taking on this North Country and bringing the 1st Annual Family Revival Day's to Alone, NY. Lastly, I would like to thank and Honor Peter and Deborah Unwin. They preserved against many odds, and very little support to take on a group of professionals to bring them to this area. They handled it professionally and with such Grace that I want to Honor their obedience to our Lord. There faithfulness showed that when we serve the Lord, we do not look to the left or to the right. We keep our eyes on Jesus and press on towards the prize. YOUR PRIZE IS COMING. 8/24/2010 "Norfolk" UMC - Pastor Harold Wheat Sunday was a real privilege for me as I was able to visit another church, locally. As I entered the UMC in Norfolk, I was greeted with a friendly hello from several people including Pat Burnap. After a brief visit, I was able to climb the stairs to the sanctuary. Several more "greetings" and welcome came from many. I sat with Bob, a elderly man with such joy and a real welcoming spirit. We joked about our singing and how we "make a joyful noise unto the Lord" ( ever notice how those of us that cannot carry a tune like to bring that scripture out). Pastor Harold entered ( back from vacation) with such joy and love for his people. He greeted, visited and talked with most everyone. He reminds me of our Pastor from several years earlier, and so for me it was a joy to be in the presence of the Lord with a true disciple. I have to say, he might be a little more artistically talented though. He sang a cappello to us, before he preached the word of God. I had to close my eyes and listen to: the words mixed with the rain on the metal roof. It was heavenly really. The most profound part of worship was a statement from Pastor Harold though...."Spiritual Journey is painful, but not Harmful" Pastor Harold Wheat I'm still pondering that statement. Here is my view from the pew: Great music...from Mercyme's - Here am I to tradional hymns, with a congregation that is very musically talented. Great worship, with a Pastor that know's how to preach the word of God using the classics, the WORD and a personal touch. While the congregation is a mix of Elderly to the very young. Fellowship after the service is great. I was blessed to be a part of this Church on Sunday, and highly recommend that you visit this church if you live within the Norfolk - Raymondville area. You will be blessed! 8/16/2010 " Emmanuel" Well, what a wonderful worship experience Michael and I had attending the church of dear friends! Pastor Judy and Gary. Worship was awesome, and I was truly blessed to once again participate in responsive singing, and then listen to a duet between Pastor Judy and Jimmy Phillips, worship leader. Truly an amazing experience for me after many years to sit and listen to a sermon preached by a dear friend that lead me back to My Lord after some backslidden years. She was alway's gentle, encouraging and meeting everyone right where they are at. To gradually get you to a place where your on your journey to wholeness. She is still ministering in the way, and I praise God for her ministry. A tour of the magnificent building was much appreciated by Michael ( the structual integrity) and for me the beauty of the new up to date, and the beauty of the old, which there is no other Church like it in this region. The stain glass window's are truly something you want to ponder as you gaze upon the beauty of them. Dedicated by a loved one from many years past. We went into the fellowship hall after to a great fest of snacks, desserts, fruit and sandwich. (and they said it was "not the normal" because so many where on vacation). I sat back in awe to watch the loving interaction between Pastor Judy and her members, Gary ministering to a young man, with scripture, encouragement and love. This Church offers, bible study, book club, mid week service along with numerous outreach ministries to the community. It truly was a delight to be with the people from Emmanuel this week. An affirming Church indeed! 8/12/2010 "Massena Church of Christ" It's taken me several day's to ponder, pray and bask in the blessing of my visit to Massena Church of Christ. Profound is all I could say for several day's. It's an amazing worship service, right here in Massena. Please visit this church!!! Here is a glimpse: A Capella singing, breaking of bread, MEN THAT LEAD, Solid Bible teaching/preaching. The friendlies Church I have been in to date! The Pastor and his wife, John & Dennis Kashorek will take the time to talk with you, bless you and give you a better understanding. ( My apologies Dennis for keeping you so long after the service) When you leave you feel like you've just been where God has always called you, and I'm still pondering, praying and thinking about it..... 8/2/2010 "Community Life Station" - Harvest Time Revival Awesome is our God!!!! After attending the tent revival at Pastor Mike & Carol's Church, I have much to share....God is so good all the time and all the time God is Good. Evangelist Mark & Paulette Swiger where back in the north country, and if you missed it, then the loss was great!! Mark has a way to bring the scriptures to life in a new way each time I hear him, and it's always in a way that you've never heard before!!! I had the honor of showing him the prophetic word he spoke over my life 7/24/2005, as it is written in my Bible. He spoke on 5 Fold Ministries, "the Church" as one, and how we need to be under the covering of one church, where we bring our tithe and attend regularly, but........we should be equipping to send OUT!!! Take your gift's and talents to the unbelievers. Church UNITY.....which is my heart's desire to see in this north country. I've recently learned that certain denominations do not cross those lines, they stay within those walls. I was deeply saddened, because they must think their is a place just for them in heaven. I believe this must grieve God also. He wants us to be one...brothers and sisters in Christ. How can we not honor him in this? I honor Pastor Mike and Carol for putting this together and persevering. I honor Hank & Doreen for doing the hard work, and walking in obedience in every area they served for a few weeks. Community Life Station is a church to be a part of and to visit often. Great things are coming to the north country, and they are a BIG part of what is happening and what's to come. God Bless you all for being obedient. I also, had the honor of visiting Central Baptist this weekend to hear Missionary Tim Mower's and family. They have just finished a 15 year mission in Cape Town, South Africa. What an honor to hear him preach and teach. To see the church they were a part of building and ministering in. Under the covering of several church's in the Baptist community. It's a great place to be, under a solid teacher/preacher as Pastor Steve Darrow and First lady Vivian. I would recommend you visit this church often to get sound biblical teaching every time. 7/29/2010 " New Covenant" I had the opportunity to venture out to Malone, NY and visit New Covenant Church, or better yet "the hill". Here are my thoughts: Great worship - they understand flow, and it draws in the anointing to a new level, and half of the worship team was gone....wow! Happy - everyone was joyful Children - they have an amazing children's program, lead by their own Julie Molnar. Sermon - Pastor Matt has many gifts, a few are to deliver the word, and speaking. He adds personal life experience to it, and encourages everyone. I would like the opportunity to hear more, and with the web I can listen to his messages weekly. Relational - I met a women I had not seen in 38 years, although she did not remember me, I told her my maiden name and she remembered our family. She shared her testimony, with such openness and transparency, that I was moved to tears at times. I love it when God has us in the right place at the right time with the right people. I would recommend this church to those that want to go higher on their journey or just need a soaking. 7/19/2010 Lifeway This past Sunday I had the privilege to visit Lifeway Church in North Bangor. Pastor Joe & Linda Selinski, and the amazing worship band. It was a real treat to run into long time friend and retired Pastor Neil McClain too! This Church is very welcoming, and happy. Many greet you with a smile and make you feel glad you visit. My dear friend Wanda welcomed me with open arms and immediately said, "sit with me". Which was a blessing because I was flying solo! She took me on a tour of the church which offers a nursery, Sunday school, café (Blue Moose) on Friday nights. We then began to worship.....wow a group of seasoned veterans indeed. It was like Motown meeting traditional! Hats off to Danny on vocal and keyboards....he plays with a gift God has given him and with such joy...it made me smile just to watch. As a matter of fact, I felt like I had a smile on my face from the time I walked in until I left. JOY Real Joy. Pastor Joe preached on Christmas "Fringe" in July....I should have been prepared when I walked in Linda handed me a card and said, " Merry Christmas" and as I looked around and saw Christmas Trees and Nativity that we were about to Celebrate!!! Pastor Joe has a gift of preaching and story telling....I've repeated twice already about the "Christmas Play" story...not as good as he, but it really stuck with me. So I say thank you to Pastor Joe & Linda.....you have listened, obeyed and persevered in your church plant in North Bangor....God has blessed it. I highly recommend checking this church out and be blessed!!! I was blessed from beginning to end. If you live in the area and want to really connect with relational believers...go to Lifeway. 7/14/2010 Father What does word Father mean to you? Do you think of God the Father or maybe your biological Father? Is it a pleasant memory or do you struggle with the word even? Do you have a healthy image of your Father or do you shutter at the memory or thought of? Let's take a look at what the Bible says about Fathers. Genesis 4:21 Musical father Genesis 9:18-19 Forefathers of all mankind Genesis 17:18 , 2 Samuel 12:15-16, 1 Chronicles 29:19 Exemplary fathers Genesis 22:1-4 Fathers love to God and Son Genesis 31: 1 Father's Finances Genesis 45: 25-28 Fathers sorrow and joy Exodus 20:5-7, Numbers 14:18 Children suffer father's sin Numbers 30:3-5 Father's Authority over daughter Judges 13:8 Father prays for guidance 2 Samuel 15:1-37 Rivalry between father , son 1 Kings 2:1-9 Aged father's counsel to son Job 1: 4-5 Jobs concern over family festivity Proverbs 3:11-12, 4: 1-10 Discipline of good father Proverbs 13:22 Leaving inheritance to children just to cover a few. Now it get's personal, as I reflect on the 10th Anniversary my father going to glory....here are my thoughts: There is nothing material that he left that matters to me, but here is what does: The scared legacy of grandfather to grandson. The precious time that I had with him....working for him and actually knowing him for the first time. The camping at Blake, Sterling in the early years.... Mason Provider Protector Hard Worker Leader Minister to many in the "program" Trucks great sense of humor cigars 7 children 1 wife Man of his word. Hand shake was all you needed. Fearless Keen sense when others needed him, gift of "showing up" Brother Uncle Grandfather Dancing Bucket test My father had many great gifts. He loved people, was loyal to his family, friends and acquaintances. He loved to help people and see them prosper, even at a sacrifice to himself or business. He taught me my work ethic, loyalty, perseverance and integrity, how to change a tire, check my oil, and how to run a business. I praise God that in the end he had a personal relationship with Jesus. Today, I honor my father's legacy.....until we meet again. 7/5/2010 Freedom or Independence Day. What is real freedom? Is it walking freely doing what we want when we want too? Is it being in Christ? Is it living in a Country where we can make our dreams, visions, hopes and prayers a reality? Well, I honor all the past and present military for serving and those that have served. But, I must say.....there is only one true freedom.....it's in Christ! Are you in Christ? If not, you need to seek out a friend that is, a Pastor, Priest or member of Clergy. Get in Christ....and learn what real freedom is! In Galatians 5:1 it says, " It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." NIV We can stand firm in Christ and not be burdened again. Who would not want that? It does not mean we will not ever have trouble again, but it does mean Christ will walk us through it. That's freedom. Please set yourself free by surrendering your will to his. Get on your knees and repent, ask forgiveness, invite Jesus to be Lord of your life and LIVE IN FREEDOM. 6/28/2010 "Revelation" A real Christian is an odd number...I feel supreme love for One whom I have never seen...I died so I can live...see the invisible, hear the inaudible, and know that which passeth knowledge. In Jesus' death for our sins, God is offering far more than escape from a much-deserved hell. God is promising us an amazing future, an eternal future....do you ever wonder if we are making it plan enough to our generation that there will be no other revelation from God except as He speaks it through our Lord Jesus Christ. Keep it simple! 6/23/2010 " Serving" Honor's reward to worship our Lord by serving. I consider it the greatest privilege to come in to the mission of Hallelujah House each day to serve. The Church, Pastor's, believers and seekers. Brother's and Sisters in Christ, I get to meet new ones each day....Wow! I've been blessed beyond what I would have ever imagined. Yesterday, I had a regular customer say, " you really do enjoy this don't you?" You get to serve this community, fellowship with all Pastor's ( which we try to spoil at HH) and listen too them, try to offer services and products that help equip. As I reflected during my meditation time today, I realized what it must be like to serve in the mission field in a third world country. Recently, my husband has been mentioning going to Cape Town, South Africa, which is not a place I have a desire to go, serve or witness. But didn't the very day after he put it on my screen saver, in walked a missionary from Cape Town. I was in awe that he has served there for 15 years. Built a Church and served the community. I asked him, " what is it like?" his response was, " it will tug at your heart". Back to my meditation time, I have many day's it tugs at my heart. As I carry home the prayer request of the day, the privilege that strangers share their needs or just walk in and ask to be prayed over. Once again, a privilege and a benefit to serving is that we get to be used by Our Father, when we make ourseleves nothing, he uses us. In our weakness he makes us strong. I have to say, I have met the most humble disciples since opening Hallelujah House. Humility....Obedience.....Serving.....Honoring.....Love. Jesus did it all, it is finished, all we have to do is move forward, keeping our eyes on him and KEEP SERVING! Another upper room experience......it's nice to have a Church to go to on a Sunday evening offering the upper room experience! New Life Christian Community, Norfolk, NY - please check it out....it just seems to get better and better. Leadership is anointed and obedient. I love that they have adopted the theme " Standing In The Gap" this year. It's a great opportunity to stand in the gap for a loved one, family member, friend, coworker, church, government, President or Country. Pastor Bill will pray for and stand with you in the gap. It's great to see so many brothers and sisters from other churchs come together for this experience. I believe soon it will be filled to overflowing, and they will be building on...Glory to God in the Highest. 6/17/10 Church in Review - "The Naz" I had the privilege of visiting another local Church on Sunday. I was immediately greeted by Dr. Ken Pell, Pastor of The Church of the Nazarene, in Potsdam, NY. An air conditioned Sanctuary ( for those that like air conditioning) with a beautiful alter and comfortable seating. I interrupted the Sunday School class ( seems to be a habit of mine). I was warmly welcomed by several people in the congregation. They had a guest speaker for the day, so I was disappointed not to hear Dr. Ken preach, but you can get his messages off the website www.potsdam-naz.org for your listening and learning. The worship was very peaceful, traditional and talented, must be the draw from Crane. There is a real mix of age groups, so this is a great Church for any age, family or single. I was most blessed to see that they have a women, Robin that sign's through worship, and would be willing to through the service if there was a need. This really blessed me, as I have a deaf women that comes into the store, that cannot go to Church because nobody does sign language. So you can bet we will be visiting again with our friend. Just to name a few of the ministries that have and are coming out of this Church. "Helping Hands", which is used by many and supported by many area Churchs. Starting up is Care-Net, a house that will be offering " choose life" for pregnant women. It is in the works, so I would like to encourage all area Churchs to jump on board and donate - money, time, talents and pray. Please everyone that is reading this - please put Care-Net on your prayer list daily. The follow up is amazing, an e-mail and call from Dr. Ken and a visit by a member of the Church all within two days. I'm grateful and thankful for this Church. It would be a privilege to be under the covering of Dr. Ken and Vickie Pell, at the Church of the Nazarene. This is a great Church for those looking for traditional worship, with sound doctrine and biblical preaching. If you like outreach to minister to others, this church offers lots of opportunity. Please check out the web page to find out more. 6/10/10 "Pray for Pastor's, Rev., Minister's, Priest and all Clergy" Please pray for your Pastor and all the Clergy in this region. As a matter of fact pray for every leader in the Church, Government and especially Our President and Family. We are called biblically to pray for our leaders. In 1 Timothy 2:2 it says, "Pray for kings and all who are in authority. In Hebrews 13:17 it says, Obey them that have rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account. So if God calls us to submit to authority, which includes our Pastor, because he watch's over our souls, then ......why would we not completely cover them in prayer daily. They need to be constantly uplifted, protected and affirmed. What are you doing for your Pastor? His family? Let us all start by spending more knee and closet time! 6/3/2010 "Another Look From Behind the Counter" Two Mormons Two Catholics Two Full Gospel One Backslidden Believer One Pastor One Baptist One Evangelical As I stood back and watched the interaction of love, acceptance, respect and fun of laughter as we shared, picked on each other and felt the love of Jesus, the presence of the Holy Spirit, I said, "Lord is this what you wanted Hallelujah House for....such a time as this? Yes, my daughter. We must come together in UNITY for MY KINGDOM. 6/1/2010 "Church in Review" This past Sunday I was headed to my Church, prayer request filled out, tithe ready and in an attitude of thanksgiving. But that was not to be. I headed into Norfolk and took a left at the top of the hill. New Life Christian fellowship. I was early for the service, but was able to take in the adult Sunday School Class. It was a test, on what they had been studying. I was on the "blue team". We did"t win, most likely because of me. We got one wrong. ( of course Pastor Bill was on the red team) A great experience indeed, and Tim is an awesome teacher I can tell, but test???? The morning service began right at 10:30 ( for those that like to start on time). Amazing worship time, I just wanted to break out in dance, but being my first visit I did not want to be over zealous. Message was great, sound biblical teaching and just what I needed to hear. They have a great children's program during adult bible study and during the church service. A family oriented, bible preaching and believing church. They make you feel welcome and loved as a brother or sister in Christ. I was so greatful for the welcoming opportunity of the morning, so I went back for the Sunday Upper Room Experience. WOW !!!! Prophectic words spoken over me, word's of knowledge spoken and the worship was incredible. Healing's and Alter experiences all around. I recommend this "Upper Room Experience" to anyone seeking to go higher. I recommend fellowship at this Church no matter where you are on your journey. Expect Great Things Coming Out of This Church. New Life Christian Fellowship 30 North Main Street Norfolk, NY 13667 315-379-9239 William Huckle, Pastor 5/13/10 The "In" Christian and the" Spirit Filled Believer". In today's world, which one are you? Do you jump into every "new" thing going on out there, or do you fast, pray and ask God to reveal to you what's right and what's not of him? Discernment. It would be easy to get caught up in all the activity going on today in the Church. But better is it to just sit at the throne of Grace and be still. Meditate, listen, seek, abide, rest and seek HIM. His Will. Then walk in the Spirit. In Obedience. Or maybe you chose the "In". You show up at everything going on every night of the week, get caught up in the activity, socializing, and become numb to the busyness. Maybe you neglect your spouse, and children, because your running every which way, every night, and when you finally get home - you have nothing left. That's neglect. I've been both. Personally, all I crave is time with my father, and then my husband and son. But at times I find it very difficult to find the balance or better yet a fruit of the spirit is temperance. When every area of your being is in God's will. Hard to do? Yes Obtainable? Yes. Let's slow down this week, have the extended time seeking, abiding, resting IN HIM. Let's go out with our spouse on "date night". ( or is that the "In") Let's spend time with our children, having the meaningful conversations, or just listening to them. Let's just slow down. 5/7/2010 Mothers This day we celebrate my Mother's 75th birthday. I called her this morning, she was eating her breakfast, not fully awake, but grateful for the call. She seemed a little confused, but this is because of the disease she has. Alzhiemer. A diease the effect's millions of people every year from ages 18 to 80. We as a family have been honoring our mother for many years on birthday's, Mother's Day, Anniversary's and special occasions. I consider it a privelege that I still have her ( our only living parent on both sides) She's tiny, petite, fragile and precious in my eyes and all who know her. She raised 7 children, and we all have arised and called her blessed. She's very weak where she used to be strong. Take's delight in the little things. Like taking a walk and admiring the flowers, or taking a drive to see a new home in progress. A freshly mowed lawn, trees trimmed, a pot hole in the road. It amazes me what she notices, things I'm usually to in a hurry lately to notice. But, when I'm with my Mom, it slow's me to a pace where I can reflect and watch the sometimes child like wonder. You walk slower, pick flower's off tree's, talk with strangers, eat ice cream cones and have the conversations you will cherish forever. You hug her more, and linger with those embraces. You gaze at her hands, and admire the beauty of these still small hands, folded together in a relaxed hold. You ponder how many noses they have wiped, how many dipers they have changed, how many tears they have dried and how many hands they have held in 75 years, and at that moment you want to click the memory, tuck it away for future moments of reflection, no wait you decide to just photograph them, because you want generations to come to see the hands that planted the seeds of salvation in each one of her children, and several of her grandchildren. That even in the difficult moments of life, fought the good fight and held to her beliefs. She would seek out the council of the wise, when she did not have the answers, or was not clear on what the Bible met. She always went to her Pastor, or mentors. I praise God for my Mother today, and the celebration of her 75th birthday and Mother's Day. She has taught me a lot through the years, but most recently Grace. I treasure every moment I have with her each week. My prayer today is that I have been a Mom as worthy to be praised as my Mom. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's. 4/26/10 WOW! I had the privilege to witness the Ordination of my dear friend Rev. Judith VanKennen, this past weekend. What an inspiration to watch. I've known the Rev for 23 years. My journey has been blessed because of her, many times in the last 23 years. She lead a bible study in her home that included 8 women, it was powerful and at times I reflect maybe the only thing that got me through the early years. She was always without judgement, loved on everyone, ran a business, took care of her family, and watched over her Mom and Sisters. Our lives have had a lot of "similar". Our husbands, and sons included, but her unwavering faith and love have been such an inspiration to all who know her. We attended the same Church for 17 years, she sponsored me on the Walk to Emmaus, walked along with me when I've gone through trials and tribulations. Always confidential and ready to listen. Wow! I could go on and on. But, what I really wanted to share is the Spirit of the Lord was surely in that place yesterday. A reference and awe for our Lord! As we opened with song, Rev. Judith sang, and we followed, while Jimmy Phillips played. It was heavenly, and I'm sure every person felt the Holy Spirit washed over us. I know I looked at those on each side of me, and we knew without a doubt we just participated in what the Lord was well pleased with. There was another moment for me, when Judy's Mom, Florence and her son, John presented the chalice to her. I had all I could do to contain my tears. A beautiful moment indeed. ( and as I reflected I saw Florence playing the organ and John dressed as a Shepard with my son for the Christmas play Judy directed, many years ago) Journey - we are all on ours. Be encouraged daily. If you are in Christ, when you wake up, you are loved and accepted! If God is for us, who would come against us. 4/19/2010 Blessed By The Community Of Believers! Wow what a weekend! If you went to see Derek Joseph and Isaiah 6, you know what I'm talking about. Praise God for Malone School District and them opening up the Middle School for believers and seekers to come together to give praise & worship to Our King. Many Church's were in attendance and it was great to see the unity. I'm sure our Father was pleased. The concert was such a blessing to me. Gracie opened the show for her Dad. She spoke about going to Uganda and what the impact on her life was, especially seeing children dying beside the road for lack of, food, water and the basic needs. She spoke with excitement about going back next year. Then came the drummer and acoustic guitar player with the amazing vocals, Brad. He is amazing and has his own CD. We then heard a glimpse of what water means in Uganda. Did you know that what we flush our toilets with everyday, is safe? They don't have that in Uganda. They have no clean drinking water. Well, Isaiah 6 has a heart for the people of Uganda and have a ministry called, "Uganda Water Project". Well then came Derek Joseph and Isaiah 6 to rock the house, and rock it they did...an amazing time of praise, worship, laughter and tears. He not only has the gift of music, both vocals and acoustic guitar - HE CAN PREACH! I think it's in the tender moment's when we share our personal testimonies and what God has done for us, his mercy and grace that we touch the lifes of other's. I thank Derek Joseph & Isaiah 6 for coming north and blessing us. I would also like to personally thank Peter & Deborah Uwin. They put it all together, did an amazing job, have the hearts to bring the gospel to those that don't know the name of Jesus, and to help believers on their personal journey's. Praise God for his Grace & Mercy. Our Redeemer Lives! I'm starting to believe Revival has already started and it's in Malone and moving this way. New Church's are springing up, old ones are being revived, Homeless shelters, and Family GAP Ministries, not to leave out the public school district opening it's doors, but the fairgrounds too! Even the Café, St. Lucia's....a beautiful place, great service, fantastic gourmet food, ( I recommend the Black Bean & Chicken Soup with Chicken Wellington) God's hand was surely on this weekend! 4/13/2010 Appreciate Your Pastor and the Pastor's in this area. My thought's have clearly been on praying for the Pastor's in this area, by name. Along with their families, and church. It's so important that we keep our Pastor's covered in prayer. As I've watched the book, "Praying for your Pastor" fly off the shelf, I've come to realize that many want to cover their Pastor in prayer. If we are under the covering and teaching of our Pastor, shouldn't it be at the top of our list to pray for them, their minds, their health, their finances, their families? This is a great example of how great our Pastor's in this area are: One Pastor e-mails me to find him a certain Bible. My Bible expert, names a few ( which this Pastor has already) so I let him know. Another Pastor comes in, I ask him if he knows about a certain Bible ( he names the one's already mentioned). But, here's the difference.....he goes home to his personal library, fond's a couple that he thinks will work and bring's them in. I let the other Pastor know about them and he is interested! Wow...The Pastor with the Bibles from his personal library says, "if he likes them, he can have them. HAVE THEM! Here's the difference now. He does not know who this other Pastor is and offers his own personal library. Just an example of what they do on a daily basis for a stranger, for you and for me. Selfless acts of kindness and giving. Now, shouldn't we at least make a covenant to cover them in prayer daily. Start with your own Pastor, Priest or Clergy, then start covering all of the ones you know by name! Then watch what happens to this region through the power of prayer. An added side note about my Pastor....I had a new customer come in yesterday, and said that my Pastor should teach a course on "Relational Pastoring". He said, that he was the Ultimate example on Relationships. I smiled....and had to agree. He's the Best!!! 4/8/10 Revival - A look from behind the counter..... Well, I have believed for a long time that Revival is coming to this region. I felt like I witnessed a glimpse of what God has in store for us last Saturday. Healing Hank was at Hallelujah House, then in walked many that had heard of God's healing on another man, after Hank lay hand's on and prayed. So the name" Healing Hank at Hallelujah House" was born. Now, make no mistake, Hank does not take credit for healings, he gives God all the Glory, Honor and Praise, knowing only God can heal. Before I knew it, Hallelujah House was filled with shoppers, and people seeking to be prayed over and for. But, it was not all Healing Hank. A Pastor and his wife and several from another church came in and started praying for and laying hand's on. After a bit of time and several customer's later, they asked if they could pray over my family, Hallelujah House and my extended family. They had no idea that my household and family had been under attack for a couple of weeks. Such awesome things have been happening and Satan does not like it when God's people are in agreement and coming against everything he represents. So they prayed, and spoke a prophecy over me life and my family, along with blessing Hallelujah House. It was a great time of blessing. If you ever question, whether you should be in constant fellowship with other believer's or attend a church regular, have a home church, join a church, well think again!! You should and need too. It's with other believer's that God works. Where two or three are gathered, there I am. It's not about Hallelujah House, you or me. It's all about Jesus and our relationship. Be ready and prepared, because Revival is coming! 4/2/10 "He was crucified" Well, it's been quite a week. Holy week. Satan has been on the attack. He does not like the fact that Christians all over the world are celebrating our Risen Savour! Lots of Grace is needed when Satan is attacking. " Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10 takes on a whole new meaning. I've talk with several people that have been attached this week, and one common denominator remains, their eyes are on Jesus. You know that is why I like to celebrate in a new way every year, and this year when I read my devotions this week God was speaking in a profound way. Yesterday for example: Spoke about Grace, and we are called upon to extend it in most every situation. Remain Silent when your under attack. There is truth in silence. When Jesus was falsely accused and stood before the Sanhedrin, He "Kept Silent". When God's Spirit leads us to remain silent, ( and we really want to salvage our wounded pride) we should be obedient and remain silent. Today when I was talking to my Father, I was overcome once again because of what today means. " Jesus was crucified" for you and for me. Let's look at it from a medical doctor description: " As he slowly sags down....on the nails in the wrists, excruciating pain shoots along the fingers and up the arms to explode in the brain - the nails in the wrists are putting pressure on the median nerves. As he pushes himself upward to avoid stretching torment, he places the full weight on the nail through his feet. Again he feels the agony of the nail tearing through the nerves between the bones of the feet. As the arms fatigue, cramps sweep through the muscles, knotting them in deep, relentless, throbbing pain. With these cramps comes the inability to push himself upward to breathe. Air can be drawn into the lungs but not exhaled. He fights to raise himself in order to get even one small breath....hours of this limitless pain, cycles of twisting, joint-rending cramps, intermittent partial asphyxiation, searing pain as tissue is torn from his lacerated back as he moves up and down against the rough timber. Then another agony begins: a deep, crushing pain in the chest as the pericardium slowly fills with serum and begins to compress the heart. It is now almost over - the loss of tissue fluids reaches a critical level- the compressed heart is struggling to pump heavy, thick, sluggish blood into the tissues - the tortured lungs are making a frantic effort to gasp in small gulps of air. He can feel the chill of death creeping through his tissues....finally he can allow his body to die. The Bible records it in these words: " and they crucified him". Word for you today If this does not have you on your knees weeping before the throne of Grace, I do not know what will. Because by His wounds you are Healed! 3/22/10 Can We Heal? Can we as believer's lay hands on others, command a healing, In Jesus Name? Well, I say yes! I just witnessed it, but until yesterday when I heard the testimony did I know for sure and certain he was healed. The story goes like this, a regular customer walks in with a cane, in pain for over 10 years, receives prayer from two other customers and receives a healing. He was in such disbelief that he never shared it with anyone. The next time I saw him he still had his cane, because he was in disbelief. But, the second time, smile on face, walking without a cane, feeling great, saying, " it feels so good to sit or stand without pain. Wow! The most tender moment I've witnessed lately, is to watch a man healed, tongue loosed talk about what God has done. Giving God the Glory, receiving the restoration and wanting to have his faith match his healing. Humility in action. You see this man comes from a Godly family. They have an awesome bible ministry, they teach Sunday School, participate in VBS, Bible Study, Women's Group, men's grouping and much much more. They now have a healed husband and father to lead their family. Because he was pierced for our iniquities: the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 The Wounds Thorns - heals your mind Hands - heal, praise, bless with Feet - your walk, direction, course of your life Spear - deep into his side, blood flowed out of his inward parts - heals your heart Scorched - they scorched his back, where all your nerve endings are. " Surely he has born our sorrow" sickness and disease. The Blood of Jesus speaks life not death. To be healed, forgiven and blessed. His blood cries out from the ground for you to be blessed. By HIS Wounds you are HEALED! 3/16/2010 Revival is Coming! And we NEED A REVIVAL! We need a revival of consecration to death, a revival of happy abandonment to the will of God that will laugh at sacrifice and count it a privilege to bear the cross through the heat and burden of the day. We are too much influenced by the world and too little controlled by the spirit. We of the deeper life persuasion are not immune to the temptations of ease and we are in grave danger of becoming a generation of pleasure lovers.... May God raise up a people who will bear the cross and mulitple them. A sanctified life is a life conformed to the Scriptures. It communes with our hearts; it next reaches our ears, and then it is accomplished with our feet. Let's start by supporting a brother, and attending the "Gospel Music Ministry" in Norwood, at the Town Hall this Saturday at 7:30 pm. You will be blessed and you never know how God will use you! See you there:) 3/8/10 "I was afraid" Luke 19:21 Have you asked yourself, "what would I attempt, if I weren't afraid of failing?" Fear of people, fear of failure, and fear of rejection can tempt you to bury your God given gifts. DON'T DO IT!UNLESS YOU HAVE COURAGE TO START-YOU'RE ALREADY FINISHED. Fear is natural, can be healthy and is needed at times. But you must overcome like Moses, Gideon, Deborah and Esther. This scripture was in our devotional yesterday, when my husband and I sat having our devotions before church, he said, "you should claim that for Hallelujah House this year", and I agreed. But, I want to tell you about the "fear" I've lived with most of my life. Fear of failure, rejection and at times not making it through the day. So what have I done? Prayed, called others to pray for me. If I'm headed into a situation where I know there will be rejection, I pray courage. I'm never actually without fear. But it's what I do with it. I've learn from my past. I can not go after my dreams because of fear of failure or I can press on towards the goal keep my eyes on Jesus. Failure may come that day, but mercies are new every morning. So I get up and start all over again. Waiting with excitement, seeking HIS will and what HE has for me today. Praying that no day is the same. Thanking him each day for how good HE is all the time, and for getting me through those times of rejection, fear of failure and loss. My prayer today is that if you are reading this, I have never made you feel rejected or like a failure in any way. Your my brother and my sister and that is how I should treat you, as Christ would. 3/3/10 Praise God for answered prayer. Ziggy is home, barked and is playing for the first time since last Wednesday. We thank you for all the prayer warriors. God's blessing on everyone. 3/2/2010 Please pray for Ziggy. He was taken to Hospital last night. He needs healing. We thank you and praise God for the prayer warriors. 3/1/2010 "Somebody's Praying" Have you ever requested prayer? On a prayer chain? In Church? With your cell group or accountability team? Or do you go solo? Do you petition with thanksgiving? Or all of the above? Well, personally I like to call in the troops. The entire group of prayer warriors, and I did just that for our precious Ziggy. He is our 6 year old grand dog. We have been taught agape love each and every day through him. He's there to meet and greet. He's not settle in until each one in the family is home, and then he's content, he plays, snuggles up on my lap or grandpa's. He sits on a rug in the kitchen while I'm cooking and waits patiently while I prepare meals for our family. He listens, is obedient, and has one desire, to please his family. He likes to be prayed over and for. We call him our little evangelical dog. He comes up the stairs and sits by my chair, waiting to be prayed for, and if you don't immediately put your hand on his head and pray for him, he nudges you until you do. Well he went to the vet for a simple X-ray and came home sick....really sick. So sick he could barely walk, wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, and lay in my lap limp. I was so upset all I could do was pray. Put him on the prayer chain, call my dog lover friends to pray, and asked for prayer in church. After 3 days and coming home from church and interceding for him, no change. About 4:30 he started to come around some, and finally started to eat a little, and I knew " someone was praying." I felt peace. 2/24/2010 Protection Keep your eyes on Jesus and Satan will flee. Have you ever noticed that if your in a situation where possible harm is or can be, that it cannot take root unless you allow it? If you keep your focus on Jesus, the fear flees, and is replaced with Courage. Psalm 31:24 says, "Be Strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord." I've had to pray for courage many times in my life and again this past week, and then I waited to see how God was going to work it out. Well, as you know, God made a way, he provided not only one way, but multiple way's. I'm grateful and thankful and I make sure I tell my Father just how thankful I am with prayer and petition with Thanksgiving. Then I rest well in HIM. It always comforts me to know my FATHER is always close, listening and waiting for me to listen. I'm grateful when I pray Legions of Angels to protect my household, family, business, Pastor and family that he answers. So today....I'm a grateful daughter of the King of Kings, I claim my heritage as an heir. 2/16/2010 Love Love one another. Love one another as Christ has loved you. You know as Christians we must continually extend grace, so we can love one another. Since opening Hallelujah House I have been blessed to witness what God is doing. It's all for HIS GLORY. By taking self out of the equation, I''ve come to realize that my only job is to surrender daily, and watch what he is doing. It has been a blessing, but not without trouble. But God has never promised us we would have no trouble, on the contrary - we are to expect it! It's just more difficult when it comes from a fellow brother or sister. That is when - love one another is tested, it becomes more difficult, we are called to extend grace and keep on loving them right where there at. I'm excited when I can do that, and extremely disappointed when I fail. The great thing is when I tell my father about it, he's waiting, already knows it, and wants me to surrender it. My prayer today is that you can tell our father about whatever is troubling you, surrender it and keep your eyes on Jesus, run the race to win it! 2/8/2010 An Heir I was so blessed this past Sunday. I went to visit a brother's church. He was preaching, and the title of the message was " A gift of adoption, a biblical look at God's adopting Grace" Well, the title grab my attention immediately. I know couples who have adopted, and a couple of people that come into Hallelujah House are in the process. One from Haiti and one from Ethiopia, and I'm so excited to meet these children. As I listen to my brother deliver God's word, I was struck by the power, the sincerity. He truly wanted each person in attendance to draw on what God was offering or reminding us that are already believers, that we are indeed son's and daughter's of the living God. We are heir's. Yes we are servants, and are called to serve, but that we are not only servants, we are heirs, meaning are you enjoying your relationship with your Father or are you stuck in "being" or "attending". Do you feel guilty if you don't have your meditation time? attend Wed. night service? Are you made to feel guilty? Where does that come from? A list of Do's and Don'ts? Or do you rest in the Father? Knowing he is God. You are a part of his family, you have closeness, affection, provision ,your loved, and cared for, which is a greater thing. I need to be reminded that I'm an Heir and I need to live like it. I don't want to settle for being a servant only, I want to claim my heritage. I am a daughter of the King of Kings. My brother also quoted, John Owens, J.I. Packer, Sinclair Fergerson, and most importantly 1John 3:1-2, Galatians 4:1-7, John 14:6, Eph 1:3-10, Psalms 16:4-5, Romans 8:12. Oh how I love to hear my Father's word. I truly believe we are all called to share our testimony and God's word, but every once in a while you meet a brother or sister who has been "Gifted" in preaching God's word, and Sunday, I heard a gifted brother, maybe the best since my husband and I returned to the North Country. I praise God for him! Keep Preaching! 2/1/2010 Fasting Matthew 5:6 says, " Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Do you need a spiritual cleansing? A breakthrough? Are you thirsty? Fast....for 3 days, 7 days, 21 days or even 40 days. You will get your breakthrough, as expressed by David in Psalms 42, fasting brings one into a deeper, more intimate and powerful relationship with the Lord. Did you know as much attention should be given to fasting as is given to giving and praying. Now if you have not fasted before, I would suggest a 24 hour fast and then build from there. It must be a part of our lives. It's tough, we have to give up king stomach's reign. We have to desire him more than anything else. We cannot do this on our own, only with the help of our master. Once it becomes a normal part of our week, we will desire to fast more and more. Regularly, weekly or maybe start your year that way every year. You will be blessed. During the fast, after the fast or month's after, but you will be blessed. In Jentezen Franklin's book, Fasting - he says that if a person can continue in a fast for forty days, there is a prophetic release. And think of this, fasting is like spring cleaning for your body! It's a cleansing of the mind, body and soul. It will put everything into perspective. It will give you what God wants for you, not what the world dictates for you. Summed up - Fasting is continually renewing yourself spiritually. Matthew 6: 1-18 1/25/2010 Because of Prayer "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" James 5:16 John Knox prayed, and the results caused Queen Mary to say that she feared the prayers of John Knox more than she feared all the armies of Scotland. John Wesley prayed, and revival came to England, sparing that nation the horrors of the French Revolution. Jonathan Edwards prayed, and revival spread throughout the American Colonies. History has been changed time after time because of prayer. I tell you, history could be changed again if people went to their knees in believing prayer. Even when times are bleak and the world scorns God, He still works through prayers of His people. Pray today for revival in your world, nation, county, town, village and church. This area needs revival. It's going to start with one, one family then two, then three and so on. We must be on our knees daily, BELIEVING. Do you believe? I do and I believe this region is getting ready for revival. Please join me in petitioning our father for revival to this region. 1/18/2010 Release from the bondage of whatever holds you captive. Have you ever headed to Church with someone or yourself, feeling like your struggling in an area of your life, and not sure if where your headed is where God wants you? You've prayed about it before you left, on the way, during the service and then the holy spirit moves and your released. Your vision becomes clear, your focus is better than ever, you feel an overwhelming sense of peace and you know at that moment, the hand of God has touch you. Your free. I think no matter where we are on our journey, that on occasion we all feel this, experience in an overwhelming way, the hand of God. I think he waits to see what we are going to do with it. Do you testify to his goodness? Do you glorify him and only him as you share? Do you draw closer with expectancy for more? Do you pull away not sure what's happened? Well, this happened to us on Sunday. I praise God for his answered prayer, his release, his power, his healing, his love. I draw closer with expectancy, want more of him and none of me. I have nothing good to offer him, and that's the greatness of our God. He takes nothing and makes it something. He teaches us what it means to be "in his likeness". A servant, a giver, compassionate, surrendering daily our will to his will. He asks us to give what's already his. Do you give? a portion? a percentage? or have you ever given it all, everything you have? I think until we can give it all, we will never know what "in his likeness"means. 1/11/10 You know how good God is all the time. From the air we breath to the shelter he provides along with the daily provision. If you have enough to eat today. You are rich, no maybe wealthy. Oh not in the world's standard's but in God's. Be thankful. Well, I surely was thankful this past weekend. I had much to "woo is me about" being sick in all, but I was truly thankful. Mostly thankful for my son's encouragement to go to church. (It would have been easy to stay in bed, sleep and recover.) I realized what a privilege it was on the way to church, when we admired the beauty of the snow on the tree's. Our conversation about the Holy Spirit, fasting, and what fasting means to us and to God. Once in church Pastor spoke about "What every Christin needs to know"- what I remember is "you cannot walk with God without a Bible, get in the word, that's where it's at. I thought, who is a Christian that does not know that. Then I realized that many do not read the Word daily. Some say, "I don't even know where my bible is", and some say, "I couldn't live without my bible". What type of Christian are you? Do you spend time in the word daily? Do you know where your bible is? Do you thirst for his word? Do you have mulitple bibles in your house? As I sat and read last night and this morning, I realized how precious his word is to me, a lamp unto my feet. I would never want to be without my bible. I'm thirsty.....are you? Let's make a commitment this year together to get in the word as much as possible. Let scripture be on the tip of your tongue. Meditate on it. Memorize it. Let it be your guide. Come to the open word thirsty each day. Ask God to speak to you. Let him teach you. I thank God for his word, and want to be mindful enough to thank him daily for giving us the freedom to read his word anywhere anytime anyplace. Be thankful. Humility These are from some of the greats: "If your looking for an example of humility, look at the cross." Thomas Aquinas "God created the world out of nothing, and as long as we are nothing, He can make something out of us." Martin Luther King "Nothing set's a person so out of the devil's reach as humility" Jonathan Edwards "Humility is the most difficult of all virtues to achieve, nothing dies harder than the desire to think well of oneself". T.S. Eliot "Should you ask me: What is the first thing in religion? I should reply: the first, second and third thing therein is humility." Augustine I experienced humility, on a new level, this past Sunday. I was asked by surprise to serve communion. I was handed "the cup". Representing the blood of Jesus, shed on Calvary. As each person approached the bread, then the cup, starting with Pastor and I said each of their names followed by "Jesus blood shed for you." I realized I was not worthy to stand and say those words, I was watching as the blood was slowly leaving the cup, and it took me back to what that day must have been like. How much blood did it take? What was it like for Mary to watch as her son was hung on the cross, his blood being shed, what did it mean to God, and I was overcome with humility, realizing the only reason I could stand before my family, and speak the words" Jesus blood shed for you" was because even though I'm not qualified, I know the qualifier. I could gaze at the empty cross and realized "It is Finished", because HE finished it, for you and for me. I'm guessing that I will never look at the cup or the bread the same, because our Journey towards holiness, starts with and continues with HUMILITY. Philippians 2:5-9 New Year's Day at the Ramsdell's We celebrated our Family Christmas on my side at the Ramsdell's. Picture, a snowy drive approximately 1 mile or so back in the woods with snow covered trees, you pass a sugar shack, cross the brook, and there it sets. "The Perfect Christmas Home" nestled in among beautiful maples, cedars and pines. It's huge, it's welcoming. You approach the walk to see 4 slabs of sidewalk with footprints on them, you stop to read: Annica, Danaye, Makia, and Gabi. Precious. Your welcomed into a big kitchen with red walls, pine, cedar, birch, ash and maple wood comes from every room, all hand made by my brother in law, Tony. A Godly man, one that embraces you to welcome you, with a slight squeeze to let you know he's glad to see you, he's missed you and he loves you, without ever saying a word. He's gentle, you see Jesus in the light of his eyes, as the day progresses you see his patience with each and every child, he compliment's each cook, jokes with his brother in laws, sits with his mother in law, takes his great nephew out to target shoot for this first time, takes all the kid's on the 4-wheeler. A wonderful husband and provider for my sister and there four beautiful strong daughters. As you leave several hours later, and your driving back down the pristine drive, you realized that you just experience what it means to be with your family, extended and all it's timeless, precious, every moment. You want to mentally click the photo, so you can quickly bring the moment's back as you reflect. It's watching a Godly man lead his family. It's sharing stories of the past, and hope for the future. It's the family God put together. What a blessed time it was and I'm forever grateful for my family. New Years Eve A time of reflection. A time of anticipation. A time to surrender the old and welcome the new. As I reflect on the past year, I have an overwhelming sense of Thanksgiving. For healing, miracles of hope, restoration, returning to my home church, my vision coming to fruition, my family, a husband that is selfless, loving, gentle, a provider and protector. A loving son that is willing to share his heart, his hopes and dreams, gentle with his Grandmother ( my Mom) and as I reflect and see him growing into the man God desires him to be, I realize that all things planted when he was young are coming to be. What a privilege to watch. As I reflect on Hallelujah House, I see God's hand everywhere, at every turn and in everyone that walks through the door. I have had the great honor to meet the most amazing Pastor's and Priest. I have used several for wisdom, my prayer chain and general information, for that I'm very grateful and thankful. I'm blessed and this Community, County and Region is blessed to have so many dedicated Men and Women of God. I'm thankful to have them on The Pastor's Page. I would encourage anyone that does not have a church to check out the web pages and call on the Pastor's to see if you can find a good fit for your family. I've also had the privilege to meet brother's and sister that love the Lord from Alaska, Florida, Michigan, California to all across New York State. I'm humbled by the blessing each one has been to me, encouraging, patient, compassionate and even sharing their testimonies, their heartaches and their hopes. Many have shared their vision for the future, and most importantly that they believe revival is coming. If your reading this and have not been to Hallelujah House, I would encourage you to come for the inspiration and stay for the coffee and conversation. |
